Trash may be placed curbside between 5:30 A.M. and 9:00 A.M only, Monday through Saturday. Notification of holiday schedules affecting trash pickups will be posted by Management on the bulletin boards.

RCG has recently implemented recycling bins to the left of the main office. Please feel free to use this area to recycle between Thursdays. However, please refrain from leaving recycling in this location if it will not fit in the bins. In addition, be considerate of your neighbors and quitely dump your bottles in the bins.

The following items MUST be recycled and ONLY picked up on THURSDAYS.
WARNING: Montgomery County may fine individual residents for not complying.

Mixed Paper
(In paper bags or cardboard boxes)

  • White and colored paper
  • Corrugated cardboard and boxboard
  • Newspaper and inserts
  • Magazines and catalogs
  • Telephone directories, paperback books
  • Unwanted mail
  • All other clean, dry paper

Commingled Containers
(In clear or blue recycling trash bags)

  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Aluminum cans and foil products
  • Bi-metal food and beverage cans
  • Plastic narrow-necked bottles (The opening of the container must be narrower than the body of the container)

Scrap Metal *
Metal or predominantly metal items, including large household appliances, bikes, grills, iron furniture and aluminum lawn chairs.

Yard Trim
(Our landscaper normally takes care of this)

  • Grass, leaves, garden trimmings and brush.
  • Christmas Trees
  • Any evergreen tree that is decorated with lights and ornaments at Christmas. (Remove all ornaments prior to recycling)

(* These items require the resident contact the trash company to schedule a pickup. Fees will be associated and payable by the resident. Otherwise, these items can be brought directly to the recycling dump in Gaithersburg.)
